The Chew Stick

An Osage Orange stick carved for a cane. I simply smoothed the wood for a comfortable handle and carved the mouth in one end and inserted a red glass marble in the other. I also drilled out the tiny knots along the length of the stick and inserted little glass beads that shimmer red as they catch the light. I left most of the wood and bark untouched because of its natural beauty.
