Description

Carved into a driftwood fir knot. Because of the dark colored wood I chose to paint the carved areas of this wizard using oils. I counted the tight growth rings on the bottom of this knot but gave up at one hundred. I'd estimate overall there are about 150 years worth of growth in this piece of wood. 11"x 3½"
